PREPARING FOR BIRTH OR HEALING AFTER?

Your pelvic floor therapy deserves more than just kegels.

Whether you're gearing up for baby number one, two… or five, or you've already crossed that finish line and are wondering why things “feel a bit off down there” after baby, we’ve got you.

The twinges, the aches, the “Wait, what is that? What's happening?” moments - we get it.

Rib pain, back pain, pubic heaviness, or the sneaky sneeze leaks no one warned you about – people will tell you these are a normal part of your birthing journey and beyond.
We’re here to tell you, you don’t have to make that your ‘normal’.

Whether you’re preparing for birth or recovering post-baby, we’re here to help you.

Pre-Natal

  • Ensure your pelvis is aligned, you’re moving well and optimally for conception, pregnancy and birth

  • Relief from rib, back or pelvic pain during pregnancy

  • Support pelvic health and reduce the risk of pelvic organ prolapse and pelvic floor dysfunction during and after birth

  • Curb urinary urgency during pregnancy

Birth Preparation

  • Understand the movement of your baby and pelvis during labour

  • Practice birthing positions to create space and facilitate a smooth delivery

  • Learn coping strategies such as breathing techniques, visualisation and acupressure to help with the physical and emotional aspects of labour

Postnatal

  • Reconnect with your pelvic floor and core from the inside out

  • Say goodbye to urinary incontinence

  • Relieve pubic area heaviness or bulging

  • 6-week week postnatal check

  • Heal and recover from perineal tears

Why Osteopathy?

Because powering through pain isn’t a badge of honour
—it’s a sign your body’s asking for support.

Osteopathy is pregnancy care that works with your system, not against it.
Tuning in and listening to your body and what it needs.

It’s gentle, hands-on, and completely personalised to you. We don’t just treat where it hurts —we look at how your whole body is working (or could be working better) and get to the root of the issue.

Whether you’re preparing for birth or healing after it, Osteopathy helps to improve mobility, ease tension, and promote relaxation, laying the groundwork for a more comfortable pregnancy, smoother delivery, and stronger recovery.

What to expect from a consultation

We keep things calm, clear, comfortable and judgement-free, as we know this time can feel raw and revealing, with a side of embarrassment for some.

Your first prenatal session includes:

  • A full-body assessment to identify tension, misalignment, or dysfunction

  • A chat about your pregnancy, upcoming birth, and what you may experience postnatally

  • Gentle, hands-on treatment tailored to your needs and areas of concern, pain or discomfort

  • Education and guidance on what’s happening in your body and the changes you will experience

  • Simple, practical strategies to use at home to prepare for your child's birth

Prenatal Consultation

Your first postnatal session includes:

  • A gentle, full-body check-in to assess any tension, discomfort, or post-birth imbalances

  • An open chat about your birth experience, recovery so far, and anything that feels “off”

  •  Hands-on treatment to release tension, support healing, and help realign your body.

  • Education and insight into what’s happening with your pelvic floor, core, and body post-baby.

  • Simple, empowering tools and exercises you can do at home—no overwhelm, just what helps

  • Emotional support and reassurance that what you're feeling is valid, and you're not alone

OUR GOAL?

To support your body as it transforms, so you feel strong, supported, and in control throughout your pregnancy and postnatal recovery.

Because while motherhood changes everything, it doesn’t mean you have to put up with discomfort, incontinence, or feeling like a stranger in your own body

  •  Yes, absolutely. Osteopathy is a gentle, non-invasive treatment option that’s safe throughout all stages of pregnancy. We tailor each session to your trimester and how your body’s feeling that day.

  • Consultations do not have to be internal if you are not comfortable with this. We also offer external pelvic floor assessments and consultations.

  • You can begin to see an osteopath as soon as you are comfortable. Our pelvic floor consults can be from 4 weeks or as soon as you feel ready. We work with you based on your comfort and recovery pace.

  • Wear something comfy and easy to move in—activewear, soft pants, or anything that helps you feel relaxed. We’ll always work within your comfort level during assessments and treatments.

  • Yes. We have specialised training in pelvic floor therapy and postnatal care, including support for prolapse and other post-birth changes. You’re in safe, experienced hands.
